The coming of the Blood Comet
The past few weeks have been a mad dash of finishing up the layout and illustrations for Ephemeris and getting it off to print. There’s been lots of coffee, loads of ink, and a good bit of trial and error (emphasis on error), but it’s all been good times. Let’s get to it.

Ephemeris Updates
Ephemeris is now fully printed and bound. I’ve spent the last two weeks printing the interior pages on risograph and the covers on letterpress, and this morning I got the last of the pledge copies bound. The pledge manager is sent out to backers, so as soon as I have books in hand, I’ll be packing up orders and getting them shipped out. We’re almost there.
That feels pretty huge, but perhaps most significant for me is the fact that this last push is the first time in a while I’ve felt really “in gear,” finding flow and satisfaction in the doing. Admittedly the volume of work in this sprint has been a little much, and I’m looking forward to taking things slower next week, but I’m grateful for these moments of creation I’ve been finding and immensely eager to share them with y’all.

There’s not too much else to say here otherwise, but there will be soon. In my brief moments of downtime on the bus, at meals, on break at work-work, my mind has meandered towards The Prismatic Oracle and The Broken Seal, big projects that will be materializing bit by bit over the course of the year, along with many more risograph goodies. Stay tuned for more real soon, and know that I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who’s helping take these errant dreams to print. Cheers y’all!
